BUSINESSWEEK AND RODIONOV PUBLISHING HOUSE TO LAUNCH RUSSIAN LANGUAGE EDITION OF BUSINESSWEEK IN FALL 2005

New York, USA/Moscow, Russia -- March 1, 2005—BusinessWeek, the world’s best-selling business magazine, and Rodionov Publishing House, a publishing company based in Moscow, announced today an agreement to publish a Russian language edition of BusinessWeek. The first issue is scheduled for launch in September, 2005.
The BusinessWeek Russian language edition will be published weekly and distributed to an initial circulation of 40,000. The magazine will be available on newsstands and via subscription in both Russia and Ukraine. Editorial content will consist of selected material from the North America and international editions of BusinessWeek and original local editorial developed by Rodionov Publishing House’s dedicated group of well-known journalists.
BusinessWeek (www.businessweek.com) is published weekly by the McGraw-Hill Companies in New York. The publication celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2004, has a worldwide circulation of 1.2 million, a weekly readership of 5.6 million, and is currently published in three local language editions including Chinese, Polish, and the Bahasa Indonesia edisi.
With the Russian language edition, BusinessWeek will broaden its reach by keeping this new readership informed of important news that affects the business community throughout the world and will provide insightful analysis and commentary of news events for business management.
